The Offer Validation Sprint helps you gather evidence of buyer demand, identify the positioning and messaging that resonate with potential customers, and determine what needs to happen before you invest in a full launch.
The goal is to move beyond assumptions and use real buyer responses to make better decisions about your offer.
1. Test Your Offer With Potential Buyers
We'll identify your target audience and develop a research strategy to help you reach qualified people who fit that audience. You'll use the strategy to have conversations with potential buyers and gather feedback about your offer.
2. Find Your Strongest Positioning and Messaging
We'll investigate how potential buyers respond to your offer, what they value, what concerns they have, and how best to communicate the product's relevance and benefits.
3. Test, Learn and Refine
We'll conduct an initial test, analyse the responses, make appropriate adjustments and conduct a second test. Our recommendations will be based on the evidence gathered from both tests.
4. Assess Demand and Determine Your Next Steps
The goal is to work towards securing 3–10 paying customers, depending on the offer and its price point, while gathering evidence of buyer demand.
You'll receive a written findings report outlining what we learned, our recommendations for your audience, positioning and pricing, and whether to proceed, refine your offer or pause before investing further.
We'll assess the number of paying customers alongside other evidence from the tests. If the target isn't reached, we'll use the available evidence to determine what may need to change before you proceed.
Where a paid test is appropriate and feasible, we'll use it to gather stronger evidence of willingness to buy.
Step 1: Onboarding and strategy
Complete an onboarding questionnaire about your offer, intended audience, current progress and what you want to find out. We'll review your answers and agree on the research and testing approach during our strategy call.
Step 2: First test
I'll provide the research questions, outreach direction and guidance for the content and materials needed. You'll conduct the conversations, contact potential buyers, publish the approved content and carry out the agreed testing activities.
Step 3: Review and second test
You'll share the responses and findings with me. I'll analyse the feedback, recommend appropriate adjustments and guide the second test if necessary.
Step 4: Findings and recommendations
I'll analyse the evidence from both tests, prepare your written findings report and walk you through the results and recommended next steps during our final review call.
This is a collaborative service. I'll develop the strategy and interpret the evidence, but you'll be responsible for carrying out the agreed research activities.
You'll need to:
Research target: At least 20 completed conversations with qualified potential buyers who fit the agreed target audience. This is a research target, not a guarantee of sales or a statistically representative sample of the entire market.
The initial timeline is two weeks, with a maximum of 30 days to complete the agreed validation process.
The actual timeline depends on the offer, access to potential buyers and the testing approach.
If the evidence remains inconclusive or demand appears weak after the testing period, I'll recommend the next steps. This may involve refining the offer or conducting further validation. Additional validation work beyond this sprint is not included in the fee.
$500 USD
The Offer Validation Sprint is for business owners who want to gather evidence of demand before committing to a full launch.
The aim is to help you make informed decisions about your offer, rather than investing in a launch based on assumptions.
Please note: The target of 3–10 paying customers is not a guarantee. The outcome depends on factors including your offer, pricing, target audience, access to potential buyers and their response to the tests. Even if the target isn't reached, the research may provide useful evidence to guide your next decision.
The sprint does not include product development, full launch strategy or launch execution. These can be considered separately based on the findings and your offer's readiness.
